This gender-neutral gift set contains: 1 x kurta top: 100% organic cotton hand-block printed by traditional Ajrakh artisans. Wooden buttons closures and flat seams for ease of wearing and fit. 1 x pants: 100% organic cotton, natural white with elasticated waistband and bottom hem. Conscious of minimising waste, it comes packed in a reusable muslin bag with an interactive paper game tag, ready for gifting.
Details and Techniques: The top is handblock printed by traditional Ajrakh printers in a remote village in Kutch in Gujarat. Ajrakh is a technique of resist hand block printing, practised exclusively in only two villages in the region. Our artisan uses only natural dyes – for this top indigo dye has been used. The top and bottom are ethically stitched in Gujarat in a small independent production unit with less than 10 employees. Please check brand sizing chart before placing order
MATERIAL, CARE & SIZE
Fabric: 100% Organic Cotton
Wash Care: Machine wash in gentle cycle with similar colours or hand wash. Indigo colour is sensitive to citric content. Do not bleach. Do not dry-clean. Warm iron as required. Natural dyed colours evolve over time, and with long exposures to the sun.
