Little Readers Nook

When life throws you a challenge, do you try or cry? Say ‘I can…’ and success is a possibility. Say ‘I cannot…’ and failure is guaranteed. Words matter, don’t they, especially when we talk to ourselves? We all learn this wisdom as adults, through difficult life experiences.

So as storytellers telling stories to children since 2012, the Little Readers’ Nook team often wondered, “What if kids could learn about real world challenges early? In a gentler, safer manner, through their favourite stories?” Thus was born LRN’s Mission WOW series of books.

A little one is bullied by an older girl in the park. A boy struggles to part with his favourite toy. A child cannot remember the alphabet. A grey fish longs to fit in with more beautiful creatures in the sea. These are everyday challenges of the kind your child WILL face someday. But here’s the catch: Mission WOW heroes have a superpower. They believe ‘I can’, and they never give up without a fight.
